In response to GOP Donors Funding Nader published Feb. 25, 2008.

This is an old story that does not tell the whole story.

Later in the campaign Open Secrets did a report on Nader’s funding from Republican registered voters and found he received less than 5% of his funding from registered Republicans. They also found Kerry received many millions of dollars more from Republicans and that many of the Republicans who supported Nader also supported Kerry.

To make it more interesting a poll by a Democratic pollster from 2000 found that 25% of his votes from registered Republicans.

So, rather than being bankrolled by Republicans he was underfunded. More Republicans should have supported him with their votes than with their dollars.</description>
